Due to increased costs of operating, smaller profit margins and failure to find investors for its business, they have decided to close down operations. They've had big competition in the past few years with a lot of competition popping up and coming up with better solutions and more effective advertisement. 

Once the go to advertising agency for those looking for AdSense alternatives, these days easily dismissed for other networks, AdBrite has seen a slow and steady decline, culminating in their closure.
