Improve your website and increase traffic

As you already know in order to make money online, your website, blog or forum must have significant amount of traffic. So your primary concern should be geting more traffic. In the previous days i've showed you some programs like yahoo ads center, microsoft ads center, bidvertiser that had pormotions and offerd free advertising. If you have read the guides i've posted you know in what ways to incrase your traffic. Now i'll tell you how to get more traffic by search engines optimizations.

First you need quality content on your website, blog or forum, second is having RSS/Atom feeds and third is having external links to your website.
The more external links your website has the faster search engines will index your website. So having RSS/Atom feeds is a must, having "digg it, google it, del icio" bookmarks is also a must. For example: you have a specific content on your website and a visitor likes it and finds it informative he will write about it on digg it for example, this way not only that you get one more external link but you can will have incrased traffic from "digg it" due to the post that that visitor made.

Of course in order to get better ranking on search engines you must have quality and quantity in your content. What i mean by this is that having a 500 words text a lot better than having 200 words text, also that text must be grammatically correct, optimized and mentioning the most important word in that text couple of times also helps.

bmw announced it's new series 3 cars today and they will be available later this year
Advanced Optimized text
Top car manufacturer BMW today announced their latest series 3 vehicles. The new BMW series 3 vehicles will be available later this year.

As you can see from the example above it's totally the same announcement but in two different forms. The first one is hard to understand by a real person and not to mention automatic bots.
While the second one is well formed and easy to understand, now what text do you think will have better search engines ranking? Of course the second one but although it has potential it doesent mean it will be indexed. As i've said you need to have lots of external links linking to your website to get indexed.
The thing with most bots is that the more traffic and content a website has the fastert they are being indexed, while lower traffic websites are being indexed a lot slower.
The best way to increase the time your website is indexed is by external links, bookmarks and reviews.
