Agloco update

I've got an Agloco update today and i'll just paste it so you can see what the current status

We will be releasing the AGLOCO Viewbar software soon and want to update Members on how things will work when it is released.

Each Member will get an email informing them that their Viewbar is available. It will contain detailed instructions on the download, which will be done from the agloco.com website.
Members will be invited to download in groups of 50,000 a day for a two week period, with Members contacted in the order in which they signed up.

Shortly before the first set of download emails go out, you will receive an email notice that the AGLOCO website will be ‘out of service’ for a few hours – this is necessary for us to move the Viewbar download system from the test server to the main servers. Also, please be aware of the following:

1. AGLOCO Hours: You will accrue hours in your AGLOCO Member account (current maximum is five direct hours a month). Hours are earned during active surfing on the Internet. The Viewbar has a green light on it that notifies the Member when it is accruing time. Your referrals’ surfing will accumulate hours for you at a 25% rate, meaning if one of your referrals surfs for the maximum five hours you will get 1.25 (0.25 x 5) hours credited to your total referral hours. You can only get credit referral hours up to the amount you directly surf (meaning if you surf 3 hours but a referral surfs 4, you will only get credit for the first 3 of your referral’s 4 hours). AGLOCO accrues these hours each month and also has a cumulative total of all hours earned. These hours are what AGLOCO will use to calculate cash and other distributions. The Viewbar contains a one click inactive button which turns it off and removes it from your screen at any time.

2. Initial Release for Windows: The initial Viewbar release will be for Windows Vista, XP, 2000 Pro and 2000 Server. Later, we will release Mac and Linux versions of the Viewbar. Until that occurs, Mac/Linux users can still log onto any supported Windows computer and accumulate their five hours. The Viewbar works with browsers IE 5.5 or higher and Firefox 1.5 or higher.

3. Cash Distributions: To be a sustainable entity in the long term, AGLOCO makes Member cash distributions from its positive cash flow (revenue minus costs). Therefore, please do not expect a check after the first couple of months as it will take time to collect revenue from advertisers and this revenue must exceed costs in order to make cash distributions to Members. We will be keeping Members informed of our financials and you can visit the Official company blog at http://blog.agloco.com for the latest updates.

4. Multiple Users on One Viewbar: As stated previously, multiple Members may use the same Viewbar on the same computer. Only one Viewbar download will be necessary as the Viewbar software will enable each Member to log in and log out using their AGLOCO Member ID# and password (obviously, only one Member ID# can be accumulating Viewbar hours at any one time). Please note, only one Viewbar is allowed on a screen at a time.

5. One-Time Download: The v1.0 Viewbar is purposely simplistic and minimalist, but it also comes equipped with an automatic self-updating feature. Once you download the Viewbar for the first time, your Viewbar will be seamlessly updated with new additions and features as they become available. These future features include the direct cash back feature when a Member purchases items on sponsor site and a portion of the purchase price is added back to the Member’s AGLOCO account (as described on the Official AGLOCO Blog at http://blog.agloco.com/index.php/post35/

One more great feature from Adbrite. If they continue this trend even google adsense is going to have a strong competition.

While Yahoo is still beta testing their ads, google using its strong monopol for bringing publisher and other advertisement networks don't doing anything to attract more publishers AdBrite has taken a great way.

The newest Adbrite feature is custom interstitial headers. You can now create custom interstitial headers with your logo, colors and button customization.

Blogvertise update

Well it's been almost a month since I've joined Blogvertise and sadly it hasen't begun working, at least for me. There are lots or bloggers and thats not the problem at all, the problem is they either don't have much advertisers or don't have advertisers at all.

If it's the first then i gues only the top 20 visited blogs are geting tasks and geting money.
Or if it's the second then it will be more than 3 months until they start signing advertisers.

So overall you could basicly just skip Blogvertise as the registration and time spend on it it's not worth at all and those spam-like emails are not helping them either!

Google released first quarter 2007 earnings results

Google Inc. today announced financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
Google reported revenues of $3.66 billion for the quarter ended March 31, 2007, an increase of 63% compared to the first quarter of 2006 and an increase of 14% compared to the fourth quarter of 2006. Google reports its revenues, consistent with GAAP, on a gross basis without deducting traffic acquisition costs, or TAC. In the first quarter of 2007, TAC totaled $1.13 billion, or 31% of advertising revenues.
“The global growth of our core search and ads business and our focus on building our partnerships drove our strong results in the quarter,” said Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google. “We continued to expand our worldwide footprint, adding important new partners and growing our platform to increase our ability to deliver targeted and measurable ads. The ongoing expansion of our network allows us to improve the user experience through new opportunities and programs.”
Q1 Financial Summary
Google reports operating income, net income, and earnings per share (EPS) on a GAAP and non-GAAP basis. The non-GAAP measures are described below and are reconciled to the corresponding GAAP measures in the accompanying financial tables.
GAAP operating income for the first quarter of 2007 was $1.22 billion, or 33% of revenues. This compares to GAAP operating income of $1.06 billion, or 33% of revenues, in the fourth quarter of 2006. Non-GAAP operating income in the first quarter of 2007 was $1.41 billion, or 38% of revenues. This compares to non-GAAP operating income of $1.20 billion, or 37% of revenues, in the fourth quarter of 2006.
GAAP net income for the first quarter of 2007 was $1.0 billion as compared to $1.03 billion in the fourth quarter of 2006. Non-GAAP net income in the first quarter of 2007 was $1.16 billion, compared to $997 million in the fourth quarter of 2006.
GAAP EPS for the first quarter of 2007 was $3.18 on 315 million diluted shares outstanding, compared to $3.29 for the fourth quarter of 2006 on 313 million diluted shares outstanding. Non-GAAP EPS in the first quarter of 2007 was $3.68, compared to $3.18 in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Non-GAAP operating income, non-GAAP net income, and non-GAAP EPS are computed net of stock-based compensation (SBC). In addition, in the fourth quarter of 2006, we excluded from the calculation of non-GAAP net income and EPS tax benefits of $90 million related to the advanced pricing agreement we entered into with the IRS in December 2006 and $43 million related to the 2006 R&D tax credit. In the first quarter of 2007, the charge related to SBC was $184 million as compared to $134 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. Tax effects related to SBC have also been excluded from these non-GAAP measures. The tax benefit related to SBC was $27 million in the first quarter of 2007 and $35 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. Google Sites Revenues - Google-owned sites generated revenues of $2.28 billion, or 62% of total revenues, in the first quarter of 2007. This represents a 76% increase over first quarter 2006 revenues of $1.30 billion and a 15% increase over fourth quarter 2006 revenues of $1.98 billion.
Google Network Revenues - Google’s partner sites generated revenues, through AdSense programs, of $1.35 billion, or 37% of total revenues, in the first quarter of 2007. This represents a 45% increase over network revenues of $928 million generated in the first quarter of 2006 and a 12% increase over fourth quarter 2006 revenues of $1.20 billion.
International Revenues - Revenues from outside of the United States totaled $1.71 billion, representing 47% of total revenues in the first quarter of 2007, compared to 42% in the first quarter of 2006 and 44% in the fourth quarter of 2006. Had foreign exchange rates remained constant from the fourth quarter of 2006 through the first quarter of 2007, our revenues in the first quarter of 2007 would have been $23 million lower. Had foreign exchange rates remained constant from the first quarter of 2006 through the first quarter of 2007, our revenues in the first quarter of 2007 would have been $115 million lower.
Revenues from the United Kingdom totaled $578 million, representing 16% of revenue in the first quarter of 2007, compared to 15% in the first quarter of 2006 and 15% in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Paid Clicks - Aggregate paid clicks, which include clicks related to ads served on Google sites and our AdSense partners, increased approximately 52% over the first quarter of 2006 and approximately 13% over the fourth quarter of 2006.
TAC - Traffic Acquisition Costs, the portion of revenues shared with Google’s partners, increased to $1.13 billion in the first quarter of 2007. This compares to TAC of $976 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. TAC as a percentage of advertising revenues was 31% in the first quarter of 2007 and the fourth quarter of 2006.
The majority of TAC expense is related to amounts ultimately paid to our AdSense partners, which totaled $1.05 billion in the first quarter of 2007. TAC is also related to amounts ultimately paid to certain distribution partners and others who direct traffic to our website, which totaled $73 million in the first quarter of 2007.
Other Cost of Revenues - Other cost of revenues, which is comprised primarily of data center operational expenses, as well as credit card processing charges, increased to $345 million, or 9% of revenues, in the first quarter of 2007, compared to $307 million, or 10% of revenues, in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Operating Expenses - Operating expenses, other than cost of revenues, were $972 million in the first quarter of 2007, compared to $862 million in the fourth quarter of 2006. These operating expenses included $506 million in payroll-related and facilities expenses, compared to $493 million in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Stock-Based Compensation - In the first quarter of 2007, the total charge related to stock-based compensation was $184 million as compared to $134 million in the fourth quarter of 2006.
We anticipate that we will launch our employee transferable stock options (TSO) program in the second quarter. We expect to incur a modification charge for SBC in accordance with GAAP of approximately $90 million in the second quarter related to vested options as of the end of the quarter and a charge of approximately $170 million over their remaining vesting periods of up to approximately four years related to unvested options. The market value of our stock used to compute the above forecasted modification charges was $476 per share. Also, as a result of allowing eligible options to be transferred in the TSO program, the fair value of each TSO granted in the future will be greater than it otherwise would be, resulting in more stock-based compensation per option.
Before these incremental charges related to the TSO program, we currently estimate stock-based compensation charges for grants to employees prior to April 1, 2007 to be approximately $639 million for 2007. This does not include expenses to be recognized related to employee stock awards that are granted after April 1, 2007 or non-employee stock awards that have been or may be granted. We currently anticipate that dilution related to all equity grants to employees will be at or below 2% this year.

Income Taxes - Our effective tax rate was 26% for the first quarter of 2007.
Cash Flow and Capital Expenditures - Net cash provided by operating activities for the first quarter of 2007 totaled $1.22 billion as compared to $911 million for the fourth quarter of 2006. In the first quarter of 2007, capital expenditures were $597 million, the majority of which was related to IT infrastructure investments, including data centers, servers, and networking equipment. Free cash flow, an alternative non-GAAP measure of liquidity, is defined as net cash provided by operating activities less capital expenditures. In the first quarter of 2007, free cash flow was $623 million.
In 2007, we expect to continue to make significant capital expenditures.
A reconciliation of free cash flow to net cash provided by operating activities, the GAAP measure of liquidity, is included at the end of this release.
Cash - As of March 31, 2007, cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities were $11.9 billion.
On a worldwide basis, Google employed 12,238 full-time employees as of March 31, 2007, up from 10,674 full time employees as of December 31, 2006.
Board of Directors
Google also announced that Eric Schmidt has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors, and John L. Hennessy, President of Stanford University, has been elected Lead Independent Director. Dr. Schmidt has been a Director since March 2001, and Dr. Hennessy has been a Director since April 2004.

The thing you should be looking at is finding a quality domain name/s.
here are some quality domains parked either free or paid: totalpc.net, car.info, tech.net and so on...
Second you should be looking is finsing a special domain promotion. For example yahoo registrar had a $0.99 domain name registration to new customers, godaddy curently has special offer on .info domains selling at only $0.99 and so on...

If you find a quality domain like the ones i've showed you you nedd to register it on longer term, best would be 3 years. This is beacose money from parked domains don't come fast, they come steadily.

Get into Google search engine in two days

As you already now traffic is the key to monetizing your website. One way to get your traffic faster when you are starting with a website is to get listed into search engines fast!
I'm going to tell you how to get into google search engine in only two days. Forget about paying hundred of dolars to get into google search engine. Surley you've comed across websites that say they will list your website in google results in one week and that you'll be in the first 10. This is only partially true, you may be in the first 10 but for low traffic keywords.
My way to get into google in two days is only for websites and NOT for blogs or forums.

Surley you've asked yourself is it better to submit your website to search engines or wait to be automaticly indexed. Well don't think any more, submit your website and submit it good.

Make sure you start a similar thread as your website content so it doesent look to obvious or you may be breaking some websites, forums guidelines and polices. Also add a link to your forum signature. It would be a lot better if you can add your website link to some website or forum that has PR6 or above google rank!

Agloco update

Here are some agloco news and updates about the viewbar and website!
Curently the Agloco website is down but their blog in still online so it remains to be seen whats the deal. Anyways today is 15 April one day from the scheduled agloco viewbar release but it seems that the viewbar will be postponed.

Viewbar details:
The Download Process: Agloco will be releasing the Viewbar first to Members who joined first. Currently, the plan is to have the Viewbar first be available to Members with ID#s beginning in BBBB to BBBF (as well as Members with an ID# beginning in “AGLO”). This is about 50,000 Members. Agloco will then continue releasing the Viewbar to more and more Members in the order in which they signed up (again, all Members will be notified by email when their account is authorized for Viewbar download).

Submiting your website to search engines and web directories is one of the most important aspect in geting traffic to your website. The main thing is to get higher ranking in the top search engines google, yahoo and msn. In order to achieve this as i've already write about you must have external links to your website. This is where other search engines and web directories come into play.

Of course submiting manually can take long and you may miss the most important search engines and web directories. This is why you need a half-automated program that will enable you to easuly submit your website.

Usually for one completed paid survey you earn from $1 to $10 bucks. But hey thats not bad considering it's a 5-10 minutes work.

Note: avoid paid survey sites that require you to enter your credit card information as they are fake and worse yet they will steal your money, joining paid survey sites is free and you should never have to give your credit card information!
Some paid survey sites even contain viruses and/or malware so make sure you have your firewall enabled and set to high when searching for paid survey sites.

As you already know in order to make money online, your website, blog or forum must have significant amount of traffic. So your primary concern should be geting more traffic. Of course in order to get better ranking on search engines you must have quality and quantity in your content. What i mean by this is that having a 500 words text a lot better than having 200 words text, also that text must be grammatically correct, optimized and mentioning the most important word in that text couple of times also helps.

While the second one is well formed and easy to understand, now what text do you think will have better search engines ranking? Of course the second one but although it has potential it doesent mean it will be indexed. As i've said you need to have lots of external links linking to your website to get indexed.
The thing with most bots is that the more traffic and content a website has the fastert they are being indexed, while lower traffic websites are being indexed a lot slower.
The best way to increase the time your website is indexed is by external links, bookmarks and reviews.
